This sword intended for competitions with ropes, shipping reels, tatami mats and similar soft targets. The thin and wide double-edged blade is hand-forged from spring-tempered 1050 high carbon steel. It comes fully sharpened and polished upon delivery. For the maximum control and leverage when tackling big cutting challenges, the sword has a hefty leather-wrapped wooden handle, suitable for one or both hands. To protect your fingers and deter enemy blades, there's an effective double steel crossguard built in. To balance the weight of the wide blade, the knife is fitted with a beautifully flared diamond-shaped steel pommel. The Sword includes a thick and robust black leather scabbard with matching steel scabbard lockets and chapes.
